Earth Hour Program by Zonice

In conjunction with the Earth Hour Program, the ZR crew volunteered themselves in the "Say No to Plastic Bag Usage" Campaign on 28th of Mac 2009. Held at Mont Kiara Solaris Cold Storage, the officials are glad to have scouts doing their part in the environmental awareness campaign. By promoting reusable bags as grocery bag, it is hope that the consumer will cut down the usage of plastic bags. At the same time, money collected by the bag sale will be allocated as the PPMWPKL scouting fund. Simply, it is a awareness and charity campaign. Overall, around 100 bags was successfully sold to the consumers. Throughout the campaign, the ZR Crew were tested in terms of social skills. It was truly a hard job but we have done it well. Many people turned away but our passion stays strong. In the end, it is the scouting spirit that brought us all to success, a success indeed to the campaign.
